After graduating with a degree in Finance (concentration in Risk Management & Insurance) from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Jana entered the claims world. Starting in material damage claims, she segued into bodily injury claims and landed specializing in material misrepresentations claims. After seeing the coverage issues insureds face when they’re not properly prepared or sufficiently covered in a loss, she decided to move to the agency side to provide better support. Jana has been with Community One Insurance since 2021 and is loving every minute! Jana has joined the Charlotte Chamber as of January of 2024 and is the Insurance Seat in the Women in Business group focusing on supporting like-minded business women.
