Zach Ligon

President

Community One Insurance President Zach Ligon truly has a passion for the insurance industry. He’s a graduate of Appalachian State University with a double major in Finance & Banking and Risk Management & Insurance. Armed with more than a decade of experience in the insurance industry ranging from service, sales, and various leadership roles, Zach started Community One Insurance to offer the personal service and options only an Independent Insurance Agent can offer to help others protect what’s most important to them.

Jana Fowler

Personal Lines Insurance
Agent & Consultant

After graduating with a degree in Finance (concentration in Risk Management &
Insurance) from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Jana entered the claims
world. Starting in material damage claims, she segued into bodily injury claims and
landed specializing in material misrepresentations claims. After seeing the coverage issues insureds face when they’re not properly prepared or sufficiently covered in a loss, she decided to move to the agency side to provide better support. Jana has been with Community One Insurance since 2021 and is loving every minute! Jana has joined the Charlotte Chamber as of January of 2024 and is the Insurance Seat in the Women in Business group focusing on supporting like-minded business women.

Jana Fowler

Personal Lines Insurance Agent & Consultant

After graduating with a degree in Finance (concentration in Risk Management & Insurance) from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Jana entered the claims world. Starting in material damage claims, she segued into bodily injury claims and landed specializing in material misrepresentations claims. Matthew Johnson

Agent

Matthew attended Appalachian State University where he graduated with a Risk Management & Insurance degree. He worked as a Small Business Broker for a large wholesaler in Atlanta, GA before moving back to Charlotte. Once in Charlotte, he began working as an underwriter for an MGA. Joining Community One Insurance on the agency side has been a wonderful experience for Matthew as he loves meeting new people and helping consumers save money while enhancing their coverage.

Matthew Johnson

Agent

Matthew attended Appalachian State University where he graduated with a Risk Management & Insurance degree. Elizabeth Younts

Agent

Elizabeth Younts graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in Finance (concentrations in Risk Management, Insurance & Financial Planning). She started her career with First Union, and after mastering her fourth corporate merger (First Union/Wachovia/Wells Fargo/USI Insurance) she decided to make a change. She’s FINRA licensed 6, 7 and 66, has worked on a number of  complex corporate insurance accounts and can help with anything from investments with stocks, bonds and mutual funds to car and homeowner insurance. Helping protect families from whatever risks may come their way is a key strength.

Elizabeth Younts

Agent

Elizabeth Younts graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in Finance (concentrations in Risk Management, Insurance & Financial Planning). Briana graduated from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, with a degree in human development (business emphasis). A native of Puerto Rico, Briana worked for a personal injury attorney as a case manager and senior legal assistant prior to joining Community One Insurance. She also worked for five years for an auto claims team in auto, bodily injury and coverage claims investigations. With loads of back-end experience, Briana is enjoying helping people on the front end by making sure they have the best coverage possible to protect what they love most ““ their families, pets, homes and autos.

The founder and CEO of Grace Communications, Emily Green, has over 15 years of experience leading marketing, public relations, event planning, and business development efforts for companies all over the United States. She has demonstrated a history of success with helping develop new companies and departments as well as extensive event planning and social media experience. She also has been responsible for public relations efforts in top markets all over the country such as Chicago, St. Louis, Minneapolis, and Charlotte. Her passion for marketing and helping businesses grow is what led her to form Grace Communications.

Emily also has a passion for speaking and educating others in fun, unique ways. She has a variety of experience with public speaking including hosting fashion shows, events, live television segments, grand openings, conferences, and virtual training sessions.

Roger has served in numerous local, state and national leadership capacities, and in 2017 he was elected and served as President of the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association (CRRA), the Carolina Multiple Listing Service and the CCRA Housing Opportunity Foundation.

Claudette Stewart Parham
